Aadhaar Card Free Update: If you have also missed getting your Aadhaar card updated for free till now, then the government has given you good news. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended its free Aadhaar update scheme till December 14. This move will benefit millions of Aadhaar number holders. Earlier the date for updating the Aadhaar card for free was 14 September 2024.
However, now this service has been extended till December 14, after which a fee will have to be paid for uploading documents and making changes in the profile on the ‘MyAadhaar’ portal.
Free service is available on MyAadhaar portal
UIDAI said in a post on social media platform ‘X’, “UIDAI has extended the free online document upload facility till 14 December 2024 to benefit millions of Aadhaar number holders. This free service is available only on MyAadhaar portal. UIDAI is encouraging people to keep the documents updated in their Aadhaar.
