These 5 symptoms including chest tightness are warning signs, rush to the doctor immediately

Heart attack is a life-threatening medical condition. It is generally believed that heart attack means death is certain. People are so afraid of this disease that they panic in such situations and thus this disease becomes even more aggressive.

About 18 million people die every day from heart attacks and according to experts, many of these deaths could have been avoided if patients were given timely medical help. This is possible only when the patient reaches the doctor as soon as he feels the initial symptoms of a heart attack. You can know here what these signs are like-

5 major signs of a heart attack

Chest pain- This is the most common symptom. You may feel pressure, tightness or pain in the chest. This pain may last for a few minutes or may subside for a while and then come back. In such a situation, if you are experiencing chest pain repeatedly, do not ignore it.

Difficulty in breathing- A heart attack can cause sudden difficulty in breathing. It may feel like you are suffocating. This can happen with or without chest discomfort. Try to identify whether the shortness of breath is sudden and severe or is slowly getting worse over time. If you have shortness of breath with chest discomfort, do not ignore it.

Pain in the arm, neck or jaw –   Heart attack pain can start in the chest and spread to the arm, neck or jaw. This pain can be on one side or both sides. It may feel like aching, heaviness or pressure. Track where you feel the pain and see if it is spreading. Watch for unusual patterns, such as pain starting in one area and moving to another. If it is accompanied by chest pain or shortness of breath, seek medical help immediately.

Dizziness and nausea- Some people may experience dizziness, nausea or vomiting during a heart attack. These symptoms may not occur alone, but may be a cause for concern if accompanied by chest pain. You may feel nausea or dizziness, which can sometimes be mistaken for other problems such as indigestion or the common cold. Check if these symptoms are accompanied by other symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath. Contact a doctor immediately if this happens.

Excessive sweating – Excessive sweating is also a symptom of a heart attack. This sweat may be cold and clammy, different from normal sweating caused by exercise or heat. Your body may react to the stress of a heart attack with excessive sweating, to deal with the increased strain on your cardiovascular system. Compare this sweat to the sweat you normally experience. If this excessive sweating occurs with other symptoms, see a doctor immediately.
