Terrorist plot foiled in J&K before elections

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections: The bosses of terrorist organizations in Pakistan are nervous about the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. There are constant reports of terrorist infiltration attempts in the state. Meanwhile, security forces recovered a huge amount of weapons and ammunition on Wednesday in the forest of Keran sector near the Line of Control. Which was hidden at a depth of 10 feet.

According to reports, after receiving inputs from the Special Election Observer and Intelligence Agency, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out a joint operation and recovered a huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosive material. Which includes AK-47 cartridges, grenades, IED making material and other items. According to Ex Post, Srinagar-based Indian Army’s Chinar Corps said, ‘Based on specific intelligence, a joint operation was carried out by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Keran sector of Kupwara.

The army said that this recovery is important in view of the current security situation and upcoming events and it is a big achievement for the security forces. It is believed that these weapons were hidden by the terrorists with the intention of spreading fear in Jammu and Kashmir and disrupting the assembly elections.
