Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will return from space in February 2025, NASA announces

Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch: NASA said on Saturday that astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, who have been stranded in space for about 80 days, will return to Earth in February 2025 in a space spacecraft.

Two American astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, who reached the International Space Station aboard Boeing’s Starliner, will now have to stay for six more months and return to Earth with rival firm SpaceX.

The US space agency NASA has given this information. NASA believes that bringing the two astronauts stranded on the ISS in Boeing’s new Starliner capsule could be dangerous.

NASA has taken a big decision regarding the return of Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore trapped in space. Their return will now be through SpaceX’s Crew Dragon instead of Boeing Starliner. NASA believes that if they are brought back through Boeing Starliner, it could be dangerous.

Crew Dragon has brought back astronauts before as well. Both astronauts went to space for the test flight of the Boeing Starliner spacecraft.
