Mumbai. Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film Stree-2 has been included in the top 10 list of highest grossing films of Hindi cinema within 2 weeks. Now Stree-2 has also left behind some of the biggest Hollywood films in this list.
After earning 291 crore 65 lakhs rupees in the first week itself, it earned 17 crore 50 lakhs rupees on the second Friday, on Saturday the film’s earning figure reached 33 crores rupees and on last Sunday its business was 42 crore 40 lakhs rupees.
Stree-2’s earnings beat ‘Dangal’
In a report, Saccanilk, a platform that releases the earnings of films, said that after adding the figure of Rs 17 crore earned on Monday, its total collection at the Indian box office so far has been Rs 401 crore 55 lakh. With this figure, Stree-2 has left behind Dangal, which earned Rs 374 crore 43 lakh. Not only this, this film has also surpassed Marvel’s blockbuster film ‘Avengers Endgame’ and ‘Avatar – The Way of Water’.

It is known that both these films are counted among the highest-grossing Hollywood films in India. Marvel Studios’ film ‘Avengers Endgame’ collected a total of Rs 373 crore in India after its release in 2019, combining all languages. At the same time, Avatar – The Way of Water earned Rs 391 crore 40 lakh in the year 2022. That is, not only Indian cinema, this film has also left Hollywood films behind in terms of earnings. Now it remains to be seen what its total collection is.

This film, directed by Amar Kaushik, has surprised everyone by entering the 500 crore club in such a short time. Yes, the worldwide collection of the film has reached Rs 550 crore. But it is yet to enter the 500 crore club at the Indian box office. This feat has been achieved by only 8 films so far, including Gadar 2, Pathan, Jawaan, RRR, Bahubali 2, Animal, Kalki 2 and KGF 2.
