Stop stubbornness else hostages will return in coffins: Hamas warns Israel

Israel-Hamas War: Hamas has warned Israel that its insistence on releasing the hostages through military pressure will have dire consequences. Hamas said that the hostages will then be ‘sent to their families in coffins.’ Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a statement on Monday, “New instructions have been given to the fighters deployed to protect the prisoners. They have been told how to deal with the hostages before the Israeli army reaches the detention centers.”

‘Netanyahu or the IDF will be responsible for the bodies’

This information has been given in the report of Xinhua News Agency quoting Obeida. According to the report, Obeida has said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or the Israeli Army will be responsible for the death of the hostages. He warned, ‘If Netanyahu resorts to military pressure instead of an agreement, then know that the hostages will return to their families in coffins. Now their families have to choose whether they want them (hostages) alive or dead.’

This statement came after the bodies of two women and four men were recovered from Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that they died in a Hamas tunnel shortly before the troops arrived. On Sunday, thousands of people rallied in Israel and demanded that Netanyahu negotiate a ceasefire with Hamas to ensure the return of those held hostage in Gaza.

UK will not export some weapons to Israel

The UK government has banned some arms export licenses to Israel. It has also been said that the ban has not been imposed completely, it is partial. Foreign Secretary David Lammy informed the country’s Parliament on this subject on Monday. He said that the export licenses of 30 out of about 350 weapons have been banned. Lammy said that our assessments clearly show that UK weapons can be used to violate international human rights laws.
