Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Review: Premium foldable phone with AI features

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Review: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has arrived in the market. When it comes to foldable phones, Samsung Fold comes on top. Over the past few years, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold phones have come with many new features, better design and stronger hinge. If you like fold phones then you will definitely want to know about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. We have used the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 for some time, and here we are telling you how we liked this new foldable phone…

Design

There have been no major changes in the design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The previous design has been carried over. However, as soon as you hold this phone in your hand, you will realize that there has been an improvement in it. The new Galaxy Fold is lighter and thinner than its previous model, making it much easier to hold. Now its edges are flat, but the size of the phone is so big that the bottom corners still press in the hand. Now this phone feels stronger and easier to carry than before.

Samsung has increased the size of the cover screen by 1mm. Although it may not look like much, this change has made typing a lot easier. Apart from this, the front of the phone is similar to the previous model. We have the phone in silver shadow color, which gives a premium look.

Samsung has distributed the weight of the phone evenly, and you can feel it when using the big screen. Even when you use the inner screen, it doesn’t feel heavy when held with one hand. The phone has an IPx8 rating for dust and water protection.

Hinge

Samsung has improved the hinge design on the Galaxy Z Fold 6, making it easier to open. While there is now a slight gap between the two halves of the phone, the screen inside still seals well enough to prevent dust from entering. Unlike previous models, this is easier and smoother than before.

Inner Display

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 7.6-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 7.6-inch display on the inside. With a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate, the AMOLED display is great with a slight crease. Although Samsung claims that they have worked on reducing the visibility of the crease, we did not see much difference compared to its previous model. The display is very good, almost perfect for playing games, watching videos or working. Everything feels very smooth thanks to the refresh rate. Scrolling through social media on such a large screen feels less tiring and the phone also works well in sunlight due to the bright screen. The protective layer on the main display now feels stronger and more responsive than before.

Outer Display

While the external display is not as good as the one inside, it is still fine. The 6.3-inch external display of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is perfect for quick tasks with one hand, without having to open the phone. The external display also has a 120Hz refresh rate and is capable of functioning as a separate device.
