Rohit-Dravid handed over the trophy to PM Modi

After winning the T20 World Cup title for the second time, the Indian team reached Delhi on Thursday morning by charter flight, where fans gave a warm welcome to the players at the airport. After this, the Indian team rested for some time at ITC Maurya Hotel and then reached PM Narendra Modi’s residence to meet him. Now, the videos and photos of this meeting are becoming increasingly viral on social media.

In fact, after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title on June 29, the Indian team was stuck in Barbados due to a cyclone and the team returned to India on Thursday, July 4. During the meeting with PM Modi at the Prime Minister’s residence at 7, Kalyan Lok Marg in Delhi, the players of the Indian team were seen in a special jersey. ‘Champions’ was written below INDIA on this jersey. In a picture of this meeting, all the players of the Indian team, coach Rahul Dravid, BCCI President Roger Binny and Board Secretary Jay Shah are seen with PM Modi.
