Putrada Ekadashi 2024: Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Sawan is called Putrada Ekadashi. It is believed that observing Ekadashi fast on this day with full rituals fulfils the wish of having a child.
According to mythological beliefs, worshipping Lord Vishnu on this day gives the boon of child and good health. Let us know when is Ekadashi date this time and the method of fasting.
According to the Panchang, Ekadashi Tithi will start at 10:26 am on 15th August in Shukla Paksha and will continue till 9:39 am on the next day i.e. 16th August. This time, the fast of Sawan Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on Friday, 16th August.
The most auspicious time for observing the fast and performing Puja will be from 4:24 am to 5:08 am on Friday, 16th August in the Brahma Muhurta. In the meantime, taking a bath and performing Puja and taking a vow to observe the fast will bring blessings of Lord Vishnu.
