Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba Review

Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba Review: This sequel of the ‘Haseen Dilruba’ series has been written for those who read detective novels, but logic is completely missing from the film. Despite this, the story has been tied in such a way that it is not a bad time pass for those who sit at home and watch it on Netflix without thinking much, and that too if they have also watched its first film available on Netflix. The story of the first film was of Jwalapur in Himachal and this time the story is of Agra in Uttar Pradesh.

What is the story of the film?

Where Rani Kashyap (Taapsee) and Rishu Saxena (Vikrant) do not live with each other in Agra, but live in the same street as strangers. So that even if someone finds Rani, they cannot find out about Rishu, who has plotted his own death in the previous movie. Rani runs Mumtaz Parlour and Rishu teaches in a coaching. The twist in the story comes when Inspector Kishore (Aditya Srivastava) suddenly meets Rani.

He calls Rani to the police station and makes her meet Neel’s uncle Montu (Jimmy Shergill), who is a police officer there. He asks Rani for Rishu’s address and also threatens her, saying that he will take revenge for his nephew Neel. This time a new character has also been added to this story, whose name is Abhimanyu (Sunny Kaushal), who is a compounder in a clinic and is in love with Rani. Rani marries him to escape from the police. But one night she comes running to the police station and says that my husband will kill Rishu, save him.

There is no logic in the story

That is, she herself accepts Neel’s murder and gets arrested by the police. Then there is a crocodile incident and a cobra incident in the movie. The rest of the story is also completely filmy. You can watch it in a thrilling way, just don’t apply logic. Don’t ask why Montu Chacha was not looking for Rani Rishu till now, he should have given the photo in the newspaper or at his police station? Montu’s friend Inspector Kishore investigated in Jwalapur for many months, his nephew was missing for months, why did he never go there? Whereas Kishore had already known the truth.

Mummy and mausi who were giving tips till the wedding night, did they not care about their widowed daughter? Suddenly they were made to disappear. Doesn’t writer Kanika know that an inspector from Himachal cannot be transferred to UP? Montu’s character without uniform was presented so powerful that it is not known what he will do, but he turns out to be a liar, apart from two CCTV footages obtained late, his only job was dialogue delivery. In such a situation, if the antagonist is weak, the movie looks weak. However, its absence has been compensated by giving grey shades to Sunny Kaushal’s character.

It is difficult to understand half of the story

Even after watching the film, you will not understand that when Rishu planned to surrender, was this plan of Montu or Rishu and Abhimanyu? Then what was the plan of both of them by sending Rani to the police station? Was Rishu not in this plan when they killed the snake charmer and Poonam and showed Abhimanyu dead? Then what was Poonam’s enmity with Abhimanyu? Why was Abhimanyu killed twice? Does anyone bring DNA report at night during raid or surrender?

These things doesn’t make sense

Yamuna river is a flowing river in Agra where crocodiles appear once in two years, it is interesting to create a story of driving away crocodiles by putting meat there. There is so much water there during rains, that too with a fast flow, it is difficult to find such deep and calm water. Poonam’s rude talk to the policeman, taking the photo from the inspector and going inside and then refusing, even then the inspector not getting suspicious, nothing worked. Neither the grand wedding of an ordinary compounder nor the dialogues showing his dominance worked.

The twists and turns will keep you hooked to the film

It is also not understood that when the tourist agent was picked up by the police, why did he not give the photos of both of them to the police, Rani would have been arrested there itself. Why did the police not get Rishu’s address from his coaching. You will find many such loose ends in the screenplay of this story. Despite this, the twists and turns of the story will keep you hooked to the film, like the novels of Dinesh Pandit, the invisible character of the story, this story and its poetry will keep you interested. But the truth is that you will enjoy it only when you do not apply any logic.
