Vinesh Phogat in Semi-Final: India’s star female wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s performance has been excellent on the 11th day of the Paris Olympics. Vinesh has made it to the semi-finals by defeating Ukraine’s Oxana Livach 7-5 in the quarter-final match. After which the expectations of a medal from her have increased.
Earlier in the match played today, Vinesh Phogat defeated 2020 Tokyo Olympics gold medalist and four-time world champion Yui Susaki of Japan 3-2 in her first match. Now after defeating Oksana Livach of Ukraine in the quarter-finals, Vinesh has qualified for the semi-finals. Her semi-final match will be held tonight at 10:25.
