Pakistan is not relenting, again showered love on Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed

Pakistan’s anti-India face has once again been exposed. The political wing of Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s banned organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) has resumed its political activities in Pakistan after a gap of about five months.

The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) on Friday protested in Lahore against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government over inflation and hike in electricity and cooking gas prices. The PMML is believed to be the new face of jailed Hafiz Saeed’s banned groups.

The protest was addressed by Tabiyyah Qayyum and Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi, who were designated as global terrorists by the US in 2018.

PMML took part in the general elections of February 2024. Some of the candidates nominated by this organization from various cities of Pakistan are either relatives of Saeed or have been associated with the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) or Milli Muslim League (MML) in the past.

Last Friday’s protest against inflation was the first “open political activity” organised by the PMML after the February general elections. However, the PMML denied any association with Saeed’s organisations.
