Ola Consumer: Bhavish Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of popular ride-hailing company Ola Cabs, on Thursday announced the renaming of Ola Cabs. Aggarwal said, “We are changing the name of the company from Ola Cabs to Ola Consumer… Cabs are just one of the services offered by this company… We are going to introduce many more services.”
Aggarwal made this announcement during Ola Sankalp – an annual special event dedicated to sharing the company’s roadmap which was held in Bangalore and live streamed on social media platforms.
Bhavish Aggarwal said the ultimate aim of the company is to leverage technology to make commerce more accessible for Indian consumers.
