Jammu: The encounter between terrorists and security forces is going on in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter started on Monday in the forests of Dhari Ghot Urarbagi area of Doda district of Jammu division. According to sources, four soldiers have been martyred in this encounter and some soldiers are also reported to be injured.
Jammu and Kashmir Police and Indian Army soldiers are engaged in the operation. Meanwhile, Doda Highway has also been put on high alert mode and security forces are keeping an eye on the entire area. Along with this, every vehicle coming and going is being checked.
There is news of 2-3 terrorists hiding in the forests of Dhari Ghot Urarbagi area of Doda district of Jammu division. After getting information about the terrorists hiding in the area, the army started the operation along with Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF. After this, the terrorists started firing, after which the army soldiers started the encounter in response.
The encounter has been going on since last night
According to the Army’s 16 Corps, intelligence was received about the hiding of terrorists in the general area north of Doda, after which the Indian Army and the soldiers of Jammu and Kashmir started a joint operation. The terrorists were detected around 9 pm, after which the security forces started a search operation. After this, an encounter started between the terrorists and the security forces. At present, the operation is going on and a search operation is being conducted in the entire area.
Last month terrorists attacked in Doda
Terrorists became active in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir on June 11 and carried out two terrorist attacks in two days. Terrorists attacked security forces in the upper area of Chattar Galla on the night of June 11 and many soldiers were injured. After this, the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police killed 3 terrorists in a joint operation.
Did political parties promote terrorist networks for votes?

Meanwhile, the state’s DGP RR Swain has revealed that terrorists are infiltrating into Jammu and Kashmir from the Punjab border. At the same time, political parties working in Jammu and Kashmir have expanded the terrorist network for votes. RR Swain said, ‘Showing sympathy for the families of terrorists when they are killed is a part of the new normal. They go home and express sympathy. An attempt was made to weaken the government’s campaign to end terrorism.’ DGP Swain also mentioned Jamaat-e-Islami in his statement and said that such organizations support terrorists on religious grounds.

The three terrorists killed were highly trained and heavily armed. Jammu and Kashmir Brigade Commander NR Kulkarni said, ‘For the last few weeks, information has been received from various intelligence agencies regarding the presence of terrorists in several launch pads in the Keran sector of Kupwara district. Our soldiers have been aggressively dominating the Line of Control for the last few weeks. On July 12, specific information was received by our intelligence agency, which was confirmed by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, that a group of foreign terrorists may try to infiltrate through the Keran sector taking advantage of dense forests and drains. 3 terrorists were killed in a joint ambush by security forces on known routes of infiltration. A large number of weapons were recovered during the search operation.’
