Carmaker Kia Motors has introduced the new Kia Carnival MPV, which is scheduled to be launched on October 3, 2024. Bookings have started from midnight of 16 September 2024, with a booking amount of ₹ 2 lakh. Customers can secure their bookings through Kia dealerships or the brand’s official website.
The new Kia Carnival will be offered in 2 variants – Limousine and Limousine Plus. After being discontinued in the Indian market in 2023, this luxury MPV will return with new looks and features. This car will compete with vehicles like Maruti Suzuki Invicto, Toyota Innova Hycross.
Talking about the design of the upcoming Carnival, it will be very similar to the Kia EV9 coming to India.
The latest car will have second-row luxury powered relaxation seats with ventilation, one-touch smart power sliding doors, wide electric dual sunroof.
The new generation Carnival will be offered in 7-seater only. The cabin will be available in dark blue/beige colour in the base Limousine variant and premium tan/black colour scheme for the top-end Limousine Plus variant.
Apart from this, there will be features like 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, 3-zone climate control, ambient lighting and ADAS Level-2.
The 2024 Kia Carnival will be launched with a 2.2-litre diesel engine that generates 200ps of power. For transmission, it will be mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The starting price of this car in the Indian market can be around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
