Nag Panchami 2024: In Sanatan Dharma, the worship of the snake god is done with rituals. Every year, Nag Panchami is celebrated on the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of Sawan. The festival of Nag Panchami will be celebrated on 9th August, Friday.
According to mythological beliefs, worshiping the nine snake gods on the day of Nag Panchami gives relief from all sins and brings immense success in life. The names of these nine snake gods are Anant, Vasuki, Shesh, Padmanabh, Kambal, Shankhpal, Dhritarashtra, Takshak and Kaliya.
According to the Nag Panchami Tithi
Panchang, this year the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month is on Friday, 9 August 2024. On this special occasion, the snake deity is worshipped. Nag Panchami Tithi will start on Friday, 9 August 2024 at 8:15 am and Panchami Tithi will end the next day i.e. on August 10 at 6:09 am.
