Motion poster of Farhan Akhtar’s film 120 Bahadur released

120 Bahadur motion poster released: Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar on Tuesday released the poster of his upcoming production venture 120 Bahadur. The film is based on the real-life story of Major Shaitan Singh. Major Shaitan Singh commanded a contingent of 120 soldiers during the 1962 India-China war.

“What they achieved will never be forgotten. It’s a great honour to bring to you the story of Major Shaitan Singh PVC and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment,” the 50-year-old actor-filmmaker wrote along with the poster.

Farhan said, “Famously known as the Battle of Rezang La fought on November 18, 1962 during the Indo-China war, it is the story of remarkable courage, valour and selflessness displayed by our soldiers against all odds.” Farhan will reportedly play the lead role in the film.

Expressing his gratitude for the cooperation of the Indian Army in the making of the film, Farhan wrote, “We are grateful to the Indian Army for their cooperation in bringing this incredible story of valor to the screen. We are going to make this film today with all humility and utmost respect for our representatives.”
