Message from David Warner after retirement, will play next ICC tournament, emotional post on social media

After the T20 World Cup 2024, there was a race to retire. Many legendary players have slowly started putting an end to their careers. This list also includes Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and David Warner. Australian legend Warner has given a big message to the fans after his retirement. After David Warner said goodbye to Tests and T20s, there were speculations that he would not play ODIs either. But he has cleared the confusion of the fans.

Warner will play Champions Trophy

David Warner has made it clear by posting on Instagram that he will be present for his country in the Champions Trophy 2025. He said that if he is selected, he will contribute for Australia. Warner batted brilliantly in the T20 World Cup 2024, although Australia’s journey remained till Super-8 only. David Warner has played more than 100 international matches in all three formats for Australia.

David Warner posted an Instagram post about his career. He wrote in it, ‘Chapter ends!! Playing at this level for so long has been an incredible experience. Australia was my team. Most of my career has been at the international level. It is an honor for me to be able to do this. 100+ games in all formats is my highlight. I want to thank everyone who made this possible. My wife and my daughters, who sacrificed so much, thank you for all your support.’
