Kolkata. Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Jawahar Sirkar resigned on Thursday in the case of rape-murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. In a letter to Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, Jawahar Sirkar said that he is resigning as a member of the Rajya Sabha of Trinamool Congress.
