After Donald Trump won the US presidential election, his wife Melania Trump was invited to the White House by the First Lady of America. President Joe Biden’s wife Jill sent Melania an invitation to have tea for a formal meeting.
But Melania turned down that invitation. The reason for this is being told that Melania is angry with the Biden couple. In fact, in 2022, her Florida residence was searched by the FBI. It is being said that since then she is angry with these people.
According to The New York Post, Melania has refused any such meeting with Jill Biden. In fact, there is a tradition in America of a formal introduction over tea between the outgoing and the incoming First Lady of the White House after the presidential election. So Jill Biden followed that tradition and sent an invitation to Melania Trump, but Melania refused to meet her.
The New York Post says that Melania is angry that Jill’s husband Joe Biden ordered the FBI to search their house. In that search, the FBI even searched her underwear drawer. Melania is most upset about this.
It is worth noting that in 2016, when President Barack Obama’s wife Michelle extended such an invitation to Melania, she went to the White House for tea. However, in 2020, the Trump couple did not follow such a tradition.
Search of Trump’s house
In 2022, the FBI searched Trump’s residence to find out whether he took classified documents with him after he left the post of President. After leaving the post of President in 2020, Donald Trump was accused of taking many confidential documents with him. A proper investigation was conducted to see if this happened. That is why his residence was searched. However, in July this year, this case was dismissed in the court.
Melania has expressed her anger about this search earlier as well. In September this year, she had said in an interview that her privacy was violated in the name of search. She had said that when she returned home after the search, she saw that her and her son Barron’s room had also been searched. The entire room was destroyed. The entire house was put in such a condition that no one would want to see.
