Israel attacks Southern Lebanon: Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, attacks are taking place from both sides. In the latest attacks, at least 10 Syrian civilians were killed in an attack by Israel in southern Lebanon in the early hours of Saturday.
According to reports, the attack on Wadi al-Kafur in the Nabatieh province is believed to be one of the deadliest attacks in Lebanon since the Hezbollah militant group and the Israeli military exchanged fire on October 8, a day after Hamas launched an attack on southern Israel.
Hezbollah says it will not stop its attacks until there is a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Israeli ministry spokesman Avichay Adri said that Hezbollah’s weapons depot was targeted in this attack in the southern province.
Hezbollah had no immediate comment on the attacks. Lebanon’s government and key leaders in several other countries have been trying for weeks to end the months-long war.
