Israel attacks on Gaza: In the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine, attacks are taking place from both sides. Five Palestinians have been killed in northern Gaza in the latest Israeli attacks.
According to reports, the Israeli army heavily shelled the outskirts of Beit Lahiya and several surrounding areas. Five people were killed and several people were injured in the shelling, the injured were taken to the hospital.
The Israeli military said rockets were fired at Israel from the Beit Lahiya area earlier in the day. In response, the Israeli military ordered residents of Beit Lahiya and surrounding areas to evacuate immediately. Israeli military spokesman Avichai Edraie said the Israeli military would “take forceful and immediate action against these terrorist elements.”
It is noteworthy that Israel has launched massive attacks against Hamas in Gaza in retaliation for Hamas’ attack on the southern Israeli border on 7 October 2023, resulting in the death of about 1,200 people and about 250 hostages. The long-running conflict has killed more than 40,000 Palestinians in the enclave.
