It seems that the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra is having a bad time. One problem does not end before another one comes up. Talking about the latest case, Tanaji Sawant, a minister in Eknath Shinde’s government, has created a new ruckus by speaking nonsense about the deputy CM of his own government.
In an event, Tanaji Sawant said that even though I sit with NCP chief Ajit Pawar in the cabinet, as soon as I come out, I start feeling uneasy. This cannot be stopped. It is not that it cannot be changed, but we are committed to our principles.

Sawant did not stop at this. Whatever he had in his mind, he kept on pouring out everything in front of the camera. While venting out the anger that he was feeling, Minister Tanaji Sawant said, ‘Just like a person with allergy vomits after taking pills, the same situation is with me. But I am sad that I cannot do anything.’
Sawant also said, ‘I am a staunch Shiv Sainik. I have never got along with Congress and NCP in my life. I have never got along with them since I was a student. This is the truth. Today, if I sit with them (NCP) in the cabinet, I feel like vomiting after coming out. I cannot tolerate this. But I have to bear it for the sake of the public.’

First the division of ministries, then the division of seats in the Lok Sabha elections, the results of June 4 and then the participation in the Modi cabinet, then the news of cracks in a bridge in Mumbai, to the statue of Shivaji Maharaj falling down, after the formation of the Mahayuti government, there have been so many political bad omens that speculations have always been made that the Mahayuti government of Maharashtra may fall. In such a situation, after talking such nonsense about the supreme leader of the alliance party, once again talks have started about the government being in crisis.
NCP retaliated
Angered by this statement, NCP leaders said, ‘Tanaji Sawant does not know what is the reason for vomiting? Tanaji Sawant is the Health Minister, health must have something to do with it. But being in the Mahayuti, if he is vomiting, then only Eknath Shinde can tell us what is the reason.
Is Sawant a big-mouthed statement maker?
NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader and MLC Amol Mitkari said – Shinde will give a statement about Sawant. Let us tell you that Sawant’s statements have caused controversy before. Last year, Sawant told a senior police officer that he does not even listen to the Chief Minister, so he has to do what Sawant says. In a video that went viral, he was seen talking to Dharashiv Superintendent of Police Atul Kulkarni and allegedly pressuring him to transfer a police inspector (PI) in the district.
Earlier in March, Sawant had said that 100 to 150 meetings were held with the support of Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde to persuade a section of Shiv Sena MLAs to topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. His statement had also created a ruckus.
