Mumbai: Horror-comedy film Munjya, inspired by Marathi folklore, is now available for online streaming. The Bollywood film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, was released in June. It stars Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and Sathyaraj.
Know where and how to watch it online on OTT. Disney+ Hotstar said in a social media post on August 23 that the film is now available for streaming on its platform. It shared the update through an Instagram post that included a motion poster of Sharvari and Abhay Verma.
Sharvari plays the role of Bela, also known as Munni, in the film. Munjya is a part of the horror-comedy universe created by Maddock Films founder Dinesh Vijan. Other films in the universe include Stree and Bhediya. Stree 2, a sequel to the original film, is running successfully in theatres.
The film, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has already grossed Rs 485 crore worldwide, as reported by Saschanelc. As per reports, Bhediya 2 is also in the works. The original film starred Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, while Abhishek Banerjee plays a common link between Stree 2 and Bhediya.
