Israel Hezbollah War: Tensions have increased in the Middle East after the assassination of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh. On Sunday, about 50 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israel. A video from Sky News showed Israel’s Iron Dome defense system being activated in the area. Iran has blamed Israel for the murder of Haniyeh. After which the fears of war in the Middle East have increased.
Hezbollah showered rockets:
In this attack, Hezbollah from Lebanon showered rockets on Israel. Hezbollah has described this attack as revenge for its support to the Palestinian people, the killing of the Hamas leader, and the death of a 17-year-old child in the Israeli attack. This attack by Hezbollah did not have much impact on Israel. Israel’s air defense system Iron Dome shot down almost all the rockets in the air. The Iron Dome shot down many rockets in the air over the Galilee Panhandle (the area between Israel and Lebanon).
Hezbollah said in a statement that it attacked a new Israeli settlement, Beit Hillel, with rockets. This is in response to Israeli attacks on Palestinian villages in Gaza, which have injured civilians. Hezbollah is supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance.
Israeli army killed Hezbollah commander Fuad.
Israel killed Hezbollah’s top commander Fuad Shukr in an attack. Hezbollah is furious after the death of its top commander Fuad. Since then, Hezbollah has been firing rockets one after the other on northern Israel to avenge the death of its commander and the attack in southern Lebanon. Israel carried out an airstrike in Lebanon’s capital Beirut on 30 July. In this airstrike, Israel killed Hezbollah’s commander Haj Mohsin alias Fuad Shukr. According to the information received, he was considered the closest to Hezbollah chief Nasrallah. The Israeli army had claimed that Fuad was responsible for the attack on Golan Heights in Israel.
