Hezbollah bombarded Israel, targets military base

Tensions are rising in the Middle East. Hezbollah fired about 30 shells on northern Israel on Sunday night. According to the Times of Israel, the army says that many of these fell in open areas and there were no casualties. The Israeli army also said that it was attacking the area from where the rockets were fired. Let us tell you that on Sunday the IDF attacked several Hezbollah bases.

According to the report, according to the Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen site, Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for this bombing. The Iran-backed group has claimed that its target was a military base.

Israel attacks Hezbollah targets
Earlier, the Israeli Defense Forces claimed that several Hezbollah workers were killed in a drone attack in Taibeh in southern Lebanon on Sunday. Lebanese media reported that two people were killed in the attack targeting a motorcycle.

The IDF released footage of the attack on the terror cell. The army also said other airstrikes were carried out on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon throughout the day, including a weapons depot.

According to the Times of Israel, Iran-backed Hezbollah announced the death of three of its fighters on Sunday but did not give details.

It is being said that three Syrians were killed in an IDF air strike. Lebanon’s Health Ministry also said on Sunday that a Lebanese citizen who was injured in an Israeli attack on the southern village of Beit Lif “several days ago” has died. Apart from this, five pro-Iran fighters were reportedly killed in a drone attack in eastern Syria.

US orders submarine deployment
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered the deployment of a guided missile submarine to the Middle East amid rising tensions in the region, the Pentagon said, taking the rare step of announcing the submarine’s movements. The US Navy has asked the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier group to reach the region more quickly, the Defense Department said on Sunday.

Lincoln, which is in the Asia Pacific region, has already been ordered to the region to replace the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier strike group, which is about to begin heading home from the Middle East. Last week, Austin said Lincoln would arrive in the Central Command region by the end of this month. It was not clear as of Sunday what his latest order meant, or how soon Lincoln would head to the Middle East. There are F-35 fighter jets on board, as well as F/A-18 fighter jets that are on the carrier.

Let us tell you that a few days ago Israel killed Hezbollah’s military chief Fuad Shukar in an attack, due to which tension between Hezbollah and the Jewish nation reached its peak. Just a few hours after Shukar’s murder, Hamas’s political wing leader Ismail Haniya was killed in Tehran. Iran, its Lebanese ally Hezbollah and Palestinian group Hamas have blamed Israel for these killings.

Israel has taken responsibility for Shukar’s murder, but has not officially commented on Haniya. It is worth noting that Iran supports both Hezbollah and Hamas.
