Actually, for the past few days, a message is circulating rapidly on social media. In which SBI Netbanking reward point is being said to be worth Rs 9980. In the message, people are being asked to upload an APK file to redeem this reward point. These messages are being sent to people through SMS, email, WhatsApp. Let us tell you that these messages are fake. This message has been declared fake in PIB Fact Check.
At the same time, SBI has also said that it never sends any link to its customers through SMS or WhatsApp. People have been advised by the bank and the government not to download the APK file. People have been advised to contact SBI officials in any way for rewards etc.
