This time on Diwali, all banks will remain closed on 31st October in South Indian states like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala as well as some states of North India like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. On November 1 (Friday),
all banks will remain closed in Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Manipur on the occasion of Diwali, Koot Utsav and Kannada Rajyotsava.
2 November (Saturday)
Due to festivals like Diwali, Bali Pratipada, Lakshmi Pujan, Govardhan Puja and Vikram Samvat, banks will also remain closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
3 November (Sunday)
Banks will remain closed for four consecutive days in Karnataka and Maharashtra. There is holiday here from 31 October to 2 November due to Diwali and other festivals. After this, banks will remain closed on 3 November due to Sunday.
Three-day holiday in these states
Banks will remain closed for three consecutive days in Uttarakhand and Sikkim. Here, after November 1, November 2, banks will remain closed on November 3 due to Sunday. Apart from Koot festival on November 1, there is also Karnataka Rajyotsava. It is also called Kannada Rajyotsava. This is the day of formation of Karnataka state which is celebrated every year on November 1.
