FIR filed against Yeti Narasimhanand for making controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad

Ghaziabad: Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand of Dasna temple in Ghaziabad, who is often in the headlines for his statements, seems to be surrounded by controversies. Narasimhanand had said objectionable things about Prophet Mohammad and the Quran in a program organized on September 29. After the video went viral on social media, there has been a lot of uproar. Now an FIR has been registered against the Mahant in Ajmer, Rajasthan in this case.

According to reports, under the leadership of Syed Kalimuddin Chishti, Vice President of Ajmer Dargah’s Anjuman Syed Jadgan, the Khadims reached the Dargah police station and lodged a complaint against Yeti Narsinghanand and registered an FIR for making objectionable remarks about Prophet Mohammad and the Quran.

Let us tell you that in a program organized in Ghaziabad, Narsinghanand had praised Ravana and his brothers and made objectionable remarks about Prophet Mohammad and the Quran. In this case, Anjuman Syed Jadgan has demanded PM Narendra Modi to take strict action against Narsinghanand.

In this case, the President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, issued a press release saying that Narsinghanand’s insult to the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is intolerable. Demanding the arrest of Narsinghanand, Rahmani said, “This is aimed at hurting the sentiments of millions of Muslims and if the youth get agitated in response, the peace of the entire country can be disrupted.”

The AIMPLB said, “The concept of Islam is clear that all religions have holy personalities. Whether we believe in them or not, it is important for us to respect them, avoid disrespecting them and avoid hurting the sentiments of their followers.”
