ED raids Sandeep Ghosh’s house: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken a major action against Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College, West Bengal. The central agency raided Ghosh’s house on Friday morning and the search is ongoing. There are also reports of raids in other states. This action has been taken under the PMLA case.
Actually, Sandeep Ghosh has been accused of financial irregularities. Along with investigating the rape-murder case of the trainee doctor, the CBI is also investigating the cases of corruption in the college. It had arrested Sandeep Ghosh on September 2 in a corruption case.
It is being told that on Friday, ED has raided 5-6 places related to Ghosh and his close ones. During this, ED officials have also reached the house of Prasun Chatterjee, the data entry operator of the hospital.
