Lucknow. Political activity has increased after the instructions to put ‘nameplates’ on food shops on Kanwar routes in Uttar Pradesh. Opposition parties are opposing this. Now BJP’s allies have also started opposing this decision of the Yogi government. JDU and RLD have expressed their displeasure over this decision and have asked the government to reconsider this matter.
JDU spokesperson KC Tyagi said, there is no such order in Bihar where a bigger Kanwar Yatra is held. The explanation given by Prime Minister Modi about Indian society, NDA – ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, this ban is against this rule. There is no (order) in Bihar, Kanwar Yatra will pass through Rajasthan. It is not there in the most established religious place of Bihar and recognized religious place of Jharkhand. It would be good if this is reconsidered.
At the same time, BJP’s ally RLD has openly opposed the issue of writing names on shops during the Kanwar Yatra. The state president of RLD opposed the decision of the Yogi government on social media and demanded its withdrawal.
At the same time, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has also given a statement. He said that this kind of confusion had happened due to a limited administrative guideline, I am happy that the state government has removed whatever communal confusion had arisen… I only want to say that no one should try to spread communal confusion on such topics. This is not good for any country, religion, humanity… There should not be communal politics on respect for faith and protection of faith.
