Lucknow. Aam Mahotsav has been organized in Awadh Shilp Gram in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the festival on Friday. An attractive exhibition of various varieties of mangoes and their products has been set up in this festival which will run from 12 to 14 July.
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, farmers, gardeners, stakeholders, exporters from other states will also participate in the three-day Mango Festival. More than 800 varieties of mango will be displayed in Mango Festival-2024. Various dishes and delicacies made from mango will be displayed. Display of more than 120 varieties, invitation (buyer-seller meeting), mango eating competition, training seminar will be special attractions in the mango variety exhibition.
The competition will be held in 58 classes of seven categories
In the Mango Festival (Aam Mahotsav) between 12th and 14th July, there will be a competition of different varieties of mango and processed mango products in 58 categories of seven categories. 800 varieties will be displayed by various organizations in the festival. 310 samples will be displayed by 90 participants in the mango preserved product category, 10 samples will be displayed by three participants in mango dish. A total of 2350 samples will be displayed by 1317 participants in the festival.
