Champions Trophy 2024 is all set to begin from February 19 and may take place in Pakistan as well as in Dubai, on a hybrid format. Meanwhile, PCB has decided on the ticket prices. Let us know the range of prices in terms of cheapest and the most expensive tickets for the tournament here: Champions Trophy 2024 ticket prices in USD.
Allegedly, PCB has listed INR 310 (INR 1000) as the base ticket price for watchers of the matches held in Pakistan. This is the price set by the PCB for tickets of Pakistan’s stadiums during the Champions Trophy. In terms of timings and prices for Indian matches set to be staged in Dubai the matches are yet to announce them. It is reported that certain documents have stated India’s assessments of ticket prices for matches in Pakistan.
PIT mentioned that from the documents , it appears that PCB has determined the amount of PKR 1000 as the minimum ticket pricing for the other three venues of the Champions Trophy which is Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. The cost to watch the matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh which are going to be conducted in Rawalpindi has been decided to be 2000 PKR i.e. Approx 620 Indian Rupees, for semi finals the price will go higher to around 2500 PKR which approximate costs 776 Indian Rupees.
The charge of all the VVIPied tickets for the matches have been decided by PCB to be a total of 12000 PKR which is approx 3726 Indian Rupees, but for the semi final matches the tickets will cost around 25000 PKR which is 7764 Indian Rupees. If we talk about the Premier Gallery tickets, the ones for Karachi are valued at 3500 PKR Equating to 1086 INR, For Lahore the price for the tickets are 5000 PKR which equal 1550 INR and the cost for watching the matches between Pakistan vs Bangladesh in Rawalpindi will cost 7000 PKR which equal to 2170 Indian Rupees.
Chairman PCB states “We are looking to set the prices for the VIP gallery at achievable prices with minimum being 7000 PKR in Karachi and moving on to 7500 PKR in Lahore with a maximum charge of 12500 PKR.” It has been decided that there will be 18000 tickets available for general viewing but work is still in progress on the maximum and minimum purchasing conditions as well as the selling platforms.
It should be noted that under the ICC’s tournament conditions, the organizer sells tickets for the matches. The organizer retains the income received from them, as well as from hospitality boxes. In addition to this, the organizer also receives a fee from the ICC for holding the tournament. At the same time, the matches of India are scheduled to take place in Dubai. This is the reason why PCB is convinced that it will receive money from the sales of tickets and hospitality boxes. The operating cost which includes the rent of the ground will be paid to the UAE Cricket Board.
