Canceled exam of UP Police Constable Recruitment will be held for 5 days in August

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will conduct written examination for Direct Recruitment-2023 for 60244 posts of Police Constable on 23, 24, 25 and 30, 31 August 2024. This examination will be conducted in two shifts daily on these dates and about 5 lakh candidates will appear in this examination in each shift.

Police recruitment exam was canceled due to paper leak, the exam had become a big issue in the elections, regarding this the Chief Minister had said that the examination will be conducted again in six months. Candidates are advised to continue their preparation and keep an eye on uppbpb website.

The exam was canceled after the paper leak

Earlier, the UP Police 2024 exam was held on February 17 and 18, which was canceled due to paper leak. This decision was taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He ordered to conduct the Police Recruitment 2024 exam within six months to ensure transparency and honesty in the examination process.
The Chief Minister had also said that there would be no compromise on the sanctity of the exam. More than 48 lakh candidates, including about 16 lakh women, appeared in this recruitment exam, which was held on 17 and 18 February 2024. The exam was conducted at 2,835 centers in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates appearing for this exam will get the facility of free bus service of Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation. Candidates can avail this facility as per their convenience, for which candidates traveling by bus will have to download two extra copies of their admit card and present one copy to the bus conductor for the journey to the district of the examination center and the other copy for the journey to their district after the exam.
