BSNL is going to introduce a new technology that will allow you to enjoy high-speed internet at home through a fiber connection, even when you are away from home. The name of this project is ‘Sarvatra’ and it is expected to bring a revolution in the telecom industry. The trial phase of this project has already been completed and soon this service will be started in areas like Kerala.
People are registering
BSNL is encouraging as many people as possible to register for this service so that they can take full advantage of this cutting-edge technology. The ‘Sarvatra’ project was introduced by BSNL Chairman and Managing Director Robert J Ravi.
Why was this project brought
The aim of this project is to provide high-speed internet to villages across India. One of the main advantages of this project is that it allows users to spend less money on mobile data.
How will it work everywhere?
‘Sarvatra’ is built on BSNL’s Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology, allowing users with existing FTTH connection at home or office to access the Internet from locations where BSNL’s FTTH service is available. To use this feature, users need to register under the ‘Sarvatra’ scheme.
It is also safe
Once registered, FTTH connections are ‘Sarvatra enabled’. This eliminates the need for Wi-Fi passwords or user IDs at another location. The Sarvatra portal acts like a virtual tower, ensuring connectivity. BSNL has assured users that the Sarvatra system is secure. The second modem is only a gateway. The ‘One Knock’ system will work 24 hours a day to ensure accurate service.
