In the case of threatening Akshara Singh over phone and demanding extortion, the police has arrested the accused from Danapur, Bihar. The name of the accused is said to be Kundan Kumar Singh. Two more cases are already registered against him. However, it has not been confirmed yet that he demanded extortion from the actress.
Giving information about the incident, SDPO Danapur Bhanu Pratap Singh said, “Actress Akshara Singh had lodged a complaint at Danapur police station, in which she said that she was threatened and extorted through an unknown call.
On this complaint, Danapur police station immediately registered an FIR, which was done on 13 November 2024. After the FIR was registered, the police started investigating the case and the accused was identified as Kundan Kumar Singh. Who is a resident of Ara in Bhojpur district. On interrogation by the police, it was found that two cases have already been registered against this person.
The first case was registered in 2019 in Khagaul police station area, in which the accused went to jail after consuming alcohol. The second case was registered in Nawada police station area, Bhojpur, in which he had gone to jail earlier as well.” He further said, “When the police interrogated the accused further, there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from his mouth.
After this, the police used an analyzer to check the alcohol, and it was confirmed that the accused was drunk. The investigation has not yet confirmed the extortion from the actress. However, it has been confirmed that this person had called Akshara Singh. At present, the accused has been arrested and further legal action is being taken in this matter.
