Before meeting with Israeli PM, Trump posts the letter of Palestinian President

Former US President and Republican Party’s presidential candidate Donald Trump on Tuesday told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that everything will be fine. He gave this information before his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In fact, the Palestinian President had written the letter a day after the attack on Trump during an election rally on July 13.

“In a world of law and order, there should be no place for acts of violence,” Abbas wrote, according to the Times of Israel.

Donald Trump gave this reply to the letter.
Trump sent back a letter dated July 14 to Abbas, below which was written, ‘Mahmoud – very good – thank you – everything will be fine.’

He also shared this letter on his social media account. According to the report, sharing this picture by the former president before meeting the Israeli PM is a clear attempt to create a balance between Israel and Palestinians.

Waiting to meet Netanyahu
Just hours before this, he had announced that he would host Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago hotel in Florida. He wrote on his Truth social platform, ‘Looking forward to meeting Netanyahu on Friday, and even more looking forward to establishing peace in the Middle East!’

What else did President Abbas write in the letter?
In the letter to Trump, Abbas wrote, ‘I am very worried to know that I have received the news of your assassination attempt and later I have also seen the footage.’ He further said, ‘Acts of violence should have no place in the world of law and order. Tolerance and respect for others along with the value of human life should prevail.’

Trump’s campaign communications director Steve Cheung told the Times of Israel that the letter was “presented to Trump after the heinous attempt to assassinate him. As he has said before, President Trump wants to end all wars and bring peace to the region so that ‘everything will be fine.'”
