Bahraich Violence: All 5 accused sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days

Bahraich. The main accused of Maharajganj violence in Mahsi Tehsil of Bahraich district of UP were referred to medical college after Mohammad Taleem alias Shabbu and Sarfaraz alias Rinku were injured in a police encounter near Handa Basehari Canal of Nanpara.

Three other accused Abdul Hameed, Faheem and Mohammad Afzal were also arrested. After the accused were produced at the CJM residence on Friday, the five accused were sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days under tight security of CRPF, PAC and police.

Before this, the accused Mohammad Sarfaraz and Mohammad Talib were arrested by the police on Thursday after an encounter. Investigation revealed that the accused had dangerous intentions. That is why they had loaded and hidden the gun used in the murder. They had also kept another illegal weapon with it, so that they could spread terror again if needed. They proved this by firing at the police team. According to the police, what happened in Maharajganj on Sunday was well planned. Stones and bricks were kept on the roof of the main accused Abdul Hameed. Glass bottles were also found.

After the encounter, every inch was guarded

After the encounter during the recovery of the weapon used in the murder, vigilance was increased in sensitive and violence-affected areas. DM Monica Rani and SP Vrinda Shukla patrolled the city. Vigilance was also increased on the Nepal border.
