Amit Shah gets angry on Akhilesh Yadav’s statement

New Delhi. The Waqf Board Amendment Bill has been presented in the Parliament today. As soon as the bill was presented, a huge uproar started in the Parliament. During the discussion on the bill, Samajwadi Party national president and Kannauj Lok Sabha MP Akhilesh Yadav said that this bill has been brought. Yadav said that Chairman ji, this is happening under a very well thought out politics. There is already a process of selecting in a democratic way, why is nomination being done in it.

Akhilesh Yadav said that what is the meaning of including non-Muslims in Waqf Board? I do not want to turn the pages of the history of the District Officer. BJP is frustrated and disappointed. On this, Home Minister Amit Shah stood up from his seat. He said that you cannot say such things. You are not the guardian of the rights of the Chairman.

Speaker Om Birla said that he is senior to you and I request you not to make personal comments on the chair. Akhilesh had earlier said that Speaker Sir, your rights are also being reduced. We will fight for you. On this, Amit Shah opposed it saying that you are not the guardian of the Speaker’s rights.

Speaker Om Birla tried to interrupt Yadav, but the SP MP did not listen. Yadav told the Speaker that I have heard in the lobby that your rights are also being curtailed, we will have to fight for you too. To this Shah replied angrily. Shah said that the rights of the Speaker are not only for the opposition, they are for the entire Lok Sabha. You cannot talk like this.

He told Yadav that you are not the guardian of the rights of the Speaker. The SP MP asked that when there is a democratic process for elections, why are we changing it? He said that there is historical evidence of the ill-effects of giving too much power to the District Collectors.
