New Delhi. In the Kolkata Doctor Rape Case, the court has given permission to the CBI to conduct a polygraphy test of accused Sanjay Roy. Now, accused Sanjay Roy will undergo a polygraphy test. This test is called psychological autopsy. It reveals the psychology of the criminal’s mind.
The CBI had filed a petition before the magistrate in Sealdah Court. In such tests, a CFSL team of some CBI doctors conducts the polygraphy test. The CBI will also ask some questions to Sanjay Roy in this Kolkata murder case.
In this case, after the court approves the polygraphy test of accused Sanjay Roy, he will be presented before the court on Tuesday, because the consent of the accused is also necessary for the polygraphy test, but if Sanjay gives his consent, then CBI is ready to conduct his test immediately. In this test, CBI will put the analysis of the accused’s voice in the lie detector machine. This will reveal whether the accused is lying or telling the truth.
CBI engaged in investigation
Several teams of CBI are investigating this case simultaneously. CBI’s forensic team once again conducted an investigation at RG Kar Hospital on Sunday. After this, mapping was done with 3D laser on the spot for 3 hours. Calcutta High Court handed over this case to CBI on 13th August. CBI has also questioned several officers of Kolkata Police regarding the investigation.
CBI is continuously questioning the former principal of the college by conducting RG. CBI questioned Sandeep Ghosh for 10 hours on the third day as well. Sandeep Ghosh has been questioned for 36 hours in this case so far. CBI is also investigating Sandeep Ghosh’s call details and chats. Any kind of demonstration near the college has been banned till August 24.
