A thorough investigation is necessary into the disclosure of collusion between SEBI and Adani: Kharge

New Delhi. Congress meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. PCC presidents, AICC general secretaries, and in-charges attended this meeting. Organizational matters for election preparations and various issues of national importance were discussed in this meeting.

Giving information about the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the shocking revelations of collusion between SEBI and Adani need a thorough investigation. The money of small investors in the stock market cannot be put at risk. The Modi government should immediately seek the resignation of the SEBI chairman and form a JPC in this regard.

He further said, serious issues like rampant unemployment and uncontrolled inflation and reduction in domestic savings are our focus. The poor and the middle class have been betrayed. The attack on the Constitution continues. Caste census is the demand of the people. The Congress party will continue its fight demanding legal guarantee of MSP for farmers.

With that said, the Agneepath scheme imposed on our patriotic youth must be scrapped. Derailments have become a common occurrence, causing inconvenience to millions of passengers. Climate disasters and crumbling infrastructure are also a cause of concern. We will prepare a national campaign on these issues and reach out to the people.
