While planting Shami plant, special care should be taken that there should never be any dirt near the plant. There should not be any garbage near Shami plant. This is considered inauspicious. It is said that if there is garbage near Shami plant, then Shani Dosh occurs. Shani Dev loves Shami plant, hence Shani Dev gets angry if there is dirt near it.

Do not keep shoes and slippers

Shami plant is very lucky, planting it in the house leads to progress in job and business. Therefore, keep in mind that shoes and slippers should not be kept near the Shami plant as it stops progress and financial crisis starts coming in the house.

Near the bathroom

Shami plant should never be kept near the bathroom. Whenever you plant Shami plant, plant it at least 5-7 feet away from the bathroom. Apart from this, Shami plant should not be kept in the kitchen either. 

Near tulsi plant

Lord Shiva loves the Shami plant very much. Tulsi is forbidden in the worship of Lord Shiva, therefore Shami plant should never be planted near the Tulsi plant. This leads to the wrath of Lord Shiva.
