Luxury car company BMW has launched the new 5 Series in India for Rs 72.90 lakh. This car is based on a short wheelbase platform.
BMW India has introduced the new 5 Series in the only 530Li variant. Its starting price is Rs 72.90 lakh.
Powertrain
The only 530Li variant is available with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. It also has a 48V mild-hybrid assist. It is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The BMW 530Li can accelerate from 0-100kph in 6.5 seconds.
Codenamed G68, the eighth-generation 5 Series LWB is aimed at the chauffeur-driven luxury sedan buyer, and will rival the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which has been on sale in LWB form for quite some time now.
