In Kolkata, Mankind Pharma was handed a Rs 2 crore fine due to irregularities in information spanning from the fiscal year 2018 to 2022.
On the 14th of January in 2025, Mankind Pharma received a notice from the Additional Commissioner for a stock exchange filing, The commissioner’s office. Deputy Commissioner of Kolkata South CGST and CX said that.
It said, ‘The GST Authority has issued this notice on the basis of GST audit from FY 2017-18 to FY 2021-22. It states that there is a discrepancy in the data given in various statutory returns.’
