Let’s know in detail…

They are allowed to ride a bike without a helmet:

People of the Sikh community are allowed to ride a bike without a helmet. Let us tell you, people of this community wear a turban on their head. In such a situation, the helmet does not fit on the head. Helmet is used to protect the head from injury or accident. But for the people of this community, this work is done by the turban on the head.

The turban on the head protects their head from serious injuries. This is the reason why they are exempted from wearing helmets. Apart from these, if someone is not wearing a helmet due to a medical condition, then they are also exempted from wearing a helmet, but for that they have to show proof.
