If you use YouTube Music app then there is good news for you. Tech giant company Google has launched a new feature for YouTube Music, named Speed Dial feature. With the help of this feature, users will be able to access their favorite songs faster. This update improves the previous Listen Again menu and provides a good experience. It was introduced in 2023 and is now available to all users.
Where to get Speed Dial feature
Speed Dial feature is in the home section of YouTube Music app. It shows the top 9 songs recently listened by the user. User can also see the remaining 9 songs by swiping. These songs are selected on the basis of songs listened earlier by the user and songs marked as favourite.
Users used to see songs in a list or card format in the Listen Again feature, which made it difficult to navigate to them. The new feature has made it easier. In the new feature, all the songs are visible on the same screen, which makes it easier to navigate to them. Currently, the Speed Dial feature is available on the Android and iOS versions of the YouTube Music app. There is no information yet about when the feature will come on the web version.
Changes in interface
Some user interface updates have also been made in the YouTube Music app. The size of the three-dot menu option has been increased, making it easier to use on a larger screen. Some minor changes have also been made to some other UI elements. Due to these updates and the affordable price of YouTube Premium, YouTube Music is giving tough competition to services like Spotify.
