Lunar Eclipse 2024:  People are eager to know about the mysteries hidden in the sky. Eclipse is a wonderful astronomical phenomenon. The amazing and unforgettable astronomical phenomenon of eclipse is seen year after year. There are two types of eclipses. Surya Grahan and Lunar Eclipse.

The second and last lunar eclipse of the year is going to take place on September 18. Eclipse period is not considered auspicious in Hinduism. In such a situation, people follow many types of precautions and rules during this time.

The last lunar eclipse of the year is going to take place on the full moon date of Bhadrapada. The lunar eclipse will start on September 18 at 6:11 am. The lunar eclipse will end at 10:17 am.

The second lunar eclipse of the year is going to be a partial lunar eclipse and it will be visible in many regions including Europe, Asia, Africa and America. It will not be visible in India, so the Sutak period will also not be valid.

Sutak period starts about 9 hours before the lunar eclipse. There are many works which are prohibited during the Sutak period.
