Musheer Khan misses double ton, India B’s first inning wraps up at 321 runs

Musheer Khan: On the second day of the first match of Duleep Trophy, India-B’s innings was reduced to a score of 321 runs. Young batsman Musheer Khan’s brilliant innings of 181 runs played an important role in this innings. But he missed out on scoring a double century in his debut match. At the same time, Navdeep Saini also played an important innings of 56 runs.

After which, India B, who came to bat on the first day, lost 7 wickets at a score of 94 at one time. After which Musheer Khan held one end and made a partnership of 108 runs with Navdeep Saini till the end of the first day’s play. During this, Musheer also completed his century on 204 balls.

On the second day of the game, India B started playing ahead of the score of 202/7 (79 overs). Musheer started the second day with 105 runs. But, on the total score of 299 runs of the team, Kuldeep Yadav sent Musheer to the pavilion on a personal score of 181 runs and he missed the double century. After this, Yash Dayal was out after scoring 10 runs, while the last wicket of the team fell in the form of Navdeep. He played an important innings of 56 runs.

However, the performance of big names like Rishabh Pant, Washington Sundar and Mushir Khan’s elder brother Sarfaraz Khan was disappointing for India B. Pant was out after scoring 7 runs and Sarfaraz after scoring 9 runs, Sundar and Nitish Reddy could not even open their account. Captain Abhimanyu Easwaran Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring 30 runs. Sai Kishore could score only one run.

Talking about the performance of India A bowlers, Akash Deep took the maximum of four wickets. Apart from this, Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed got two wickets each. Kuldeep Yadav took one wicket.
