Two killed, 12 injured in drone attack by militants in Manipur

Manipur Drone Attack: The country’s northeastern state Manipur has been burning in the fire of violence since last year, reports of violence have been coming out continuously in the state. Meanwhile, there is a news that is raising concern for the security forces.

Actually, militants are now using drones for attacks. Incidents of drone attacks have come to light in the last two days.

According to media reports, Kuki militants used drones to bomb people of the Meitei community in Sejam Chirang and nearby Koutrak in Imphal, Manipur. It is being told that two people were killed in two drone and gun attacks, while 12 others were injured. This is the first time that drones have been used for attack.

This drone attack has forced the security forces to think about the strength of the militants. Meanwhile, Manipur DGP Rajeev Singh on Tuesday (September 2) visited the places that were victims of drone attacks in the Kangchup hill areas including Kadangband, Koutruk and Senjam Chirang. The drone attack has increased the concern of the government.

It is worth noting that drones have been used for civil wars and attacks across international borders. In such a situation, the well-planned drone attack in Manipur has posed a threat to the security of the country.
