Tata Nexon CNG: The country’s leading company Tata Motors’ Nexon is ready to launch in India as the first turbo-petrol CNG car. Apart from this, information has come to light that the CNG model of Tata Nexon will be launched in 2 transmission options.
The new Nexon will be equipped with a 5-speed manual as well as an automated manual transmission (AMT) gearbox. Earlier, the company has launched Tiago and Tigor in the market as the first CNG automatic cars after introducing twin CNG cylinder technology.
Features and Design
The design of the new Nexon CNG car will be similar to the ICE model of the current Nexon, which has split LED headlamps with LED turn indicators. Also, the car will have a new bumper, new alloy wheels and Y-pattern LED taillamps at the rear. It will have the company’s twin-cylinder technology, which will provide more boot space for storing luggage.
Price
It is expected to be around Rs 80,000 more than the starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) of the ICE model. It will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG in the Indian market.
